Who I Am
WHERE I'M FROM
I was born and raised just 30 miles from the Gulf of Mexico in Victoria, TX. My Mom worked as a Registered Nurse. My Dad worked in Sales, Management, and anything in-between to keep the lights on. They always encouraged me to turn off the computer games and spend time outside. I'm so glad I listened. There isn't much to see in Victoria, but the food is great and the people are friendly enough.
WHAT I USED TO DO
When I was 15, I got my first job stocking shelves at a big red retail store. After that, I waited many tables for a chain Italian restaurant, helped folks solve their computer technology woes, and held my own slinging cocktails in the heart of downtown Austin, TX.
WHAT I DO NOW
I'm a Product Designer looking for my next opportunity. Previously, I was designing at ZenBusiness . Before that, I was an Art Director for HCB Health (now Boundless Life Sciences) where I explored the exciting world of pharmaceutical marketing.
WHERE I'M AT NOW
Today, I split my time between Austin, TX and Ithaca, NY. When I'm not working, you can usually find me reading with my cat, hiking with my partner, or continuing a never ending journey to find the best coffee around.
